Description
FCS II Fin Plugs
FCS II Fin Plugs are for use with all new FCS II fins, however they will also fit the older-style FCS two-tab surfboard fins.
The FCS II plug system requires no grub screws. It is an efficient key-less system for fin installation and release. It is therefore easy to insert and remove fins in just a matter of seconds. As a result, you can adapt your surfboard to the conditions on the day with no hassle.
The fin plugs have a recessed leading edge which gives a flush base connection. Consequently this improves water flow.
FCS II plugs give a solid connection between fin and surfboard. Equally there is a seamless transition between the fin and board surface.
The construction of the fin plug uses a corrosion resistant titanium tension rod and a rotating, wear-resistant polymer barrel. When the surfboard fin is inserted into the fin plug, the barrel interacts with a groove detail in the fin to lock it into place creating a secure fit.
Testing has been done on the FCS II Fin System (over 4,000 cycles of installing & then removing the fin). The FCS II system should outlast the board in normal conditions.
FCS II Fin Plug Setup Options

- 0º
- 3º
- 5º
- 9º
Below lists common uses for the different degree fin plugs:
