Where the Comp is only critically taped, the Phoenix boasts full taping for tighter, stronger seals and a full thermal lining making it a superior summer wetsuit with stretch that combines with sealed infrared warmth.

Additionally, the Phoenix has a new panel cut on the arms with a one-piece Channel Flex panel running across the shoulders and the length of the arm with Ultra Stretch neoprene on the underside. This construction increases the freedom of movement which is an obvious benefit for paddling.
